This photo captures the moment that I realized my life’s work in business persuasion.
Alright. Maybe I’m off by about 35 years.
In that moment I was probably soiling my diaper.
But the truth is that this photo isn’t entirely inappropriate when it comes to making the point at the heart of this email.
Because that was the exact face I made back in 2013 when I realized that there was a certain pattern among the most-viewed TED talks…
And non-fiction books that had sold millions of copies…
And even the most celebrated quotes from the most famous thinkers of all time.
I then studied this pattern and used it to help experts make over their message.
This pattern is responsible for speakers ending years of speaking for free and instead commanding 5-figure fees.
It’s responsible for people landing TEDx talks and getting massive contracts from people who saw their TEDx talks.
And it’s even responsible for one client going from working by herself to having more than three dozen people under her employ…
…in only two years.
It’s a pattern that may surprise you, for it’s not some super-technical, densely presented technique.
It’s a single sentence.
Indeed, a single sentence led to all of those things I mentioned my clients getting – and more.
This pattern is also the basis of my very first book:

The Most Powerful Sentence of All Time: A Fable About Persuasion.
In this little gem of a business fable, you will learn what happens when a struggling CEO uses this pattern – a completely overlooked persuasion technique – in her attempt to land the deal of a lifetime.
But more importantly, you will come to understand this pattern for yourself, and how it will help you turn your message into a movement.
